At the Guitar School, we recognise the demand for bass guitar tuition and have designed a course to accommodate this often understated instrument. We want our students to be given the opportunity to play the bass guitar to its full potential. Our bass guitar courses are structured in a similar way to the grading system we follow with the electric guitar, where students can expect to receive the same high standard of professional teaching.
As there is a close relationship between the electric and bass guitar, it will be necessary for bass candidates to combine classes with the electric guitar students; this will enable the bass player to have a general overview as to what is expected from an up and coming bass guitarist. We cannot ignore the theory element to our courses which are common in the tuition for both instruments. Successful bass guitar candidates would acquire the musicianship skills which are central to the ethos of the school.
